The historical name MILK dates back to the time when Skateflua was a meeting point for the delivery of milk and products from the fjord farms and the islands surrounding Ålesund. Here, you could often get news and gossip about everything that was going on - talk and trade went hand in hand.

Today, the quay is no longer a hub for trade, it is back as a meeting point - now in the form of a bar & lounge with international standards, dedicated bartenders and a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy the view of Ålesund and the canal Brosundet, or look down at the glass floor and study life under the quay.
